2007 Mind Your Health Conference Wrap Up

The Texas Women's Health Foundation hosted its First Annual Conference entitled Mind Your Health: The State of Mental Healthcare in Texas on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.  The conference was a huge success, bringing together policymakers, mental health experts, medical professionals, advocates, and members of the general public to discuss the many issues related to mental healthcare in our state.

The Foundation will continue to work on this important issue in the future.  It is our goal to provide information and a forum that allows interested parties to communicate and work toward solutions that benefit the mental health and well-being of all Texans.

Below is the list of panelists that participated in each of our three seminars during the day-long conference.  In addition, panelists who used power point presentations have allowed the Foundation to post their presentations here as an educational resource.  We ask that you use this information responsibly, that you respect this as the intellectual property of the presenter, and that you give credit to the responsible party should you use any of this information in any capacity.
